Introducing Our New Additional Grinding Capabilities
Here at Eaton Socon Engineering, we are always keen to listen to feedback from our customers. Not only does this help us to perfect our current services, it also gives us ideas for new services that we can offer. Recently we have been approached by several customers asking us to carry out large surface grinding jobs that were beyond our capabilities. Rather than let down these customers, we have invested in a Jones and Shipman surface grinder.
This new machine will allow us to take on larger grinding jobs, as well as improve the quality of our existing services. We can now offer surface grinding up to 600mm x 300mm. The Jones and Shipman machine will extend and expand our capacity for grinding larger components and will also significantly reduce our lead times on grinding jobs. From the customer’s point of view, this means greater capacity and a faster service.
Jones and Shipman is one of the world's most respected manufacturers of surface grinders, with a history dating back to the Second World War. Today, the company’s surface grinders combine the traditional designs of the past with all the features of the modern toolroom. Allowing for precision grinding at high speed, the Jones and Shipman surface grinder is the perfect addition to the Eaton Socon arsenal.
Like Jones and Shipman, Eaton Socon Engineering has a longstanding commitment to quality. Operating since 1978, we pride ourselves on offering the finest in manual and CNC precision engineering. We work closely with our clients to ensure that the finished product is exactly what you wanted.
